Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in MedSurg/Tele for a 13-week contract position with potential for extension.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including specific experience in MedSurg/Tele.
This individual will play a pivotal role in patient care, utilizing their expertise to collect and analyze health data, develop individualized care plans, and implement strategies to promote health and safety.
Essential Functions:
Assessment and Diagnosis:
Collects relevant data on healthcare consumers' health and situations.
Analyzes assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
Care Planning:
Identifies expected outcomes and develops individualized plans for healthcare consumers.
Prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.
Implementation and Coordination:
Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and promotes a safe environment.
Delegates care elements to appropriate healthcare workers within legal and policy parameters.
Evaluation:
Evaluates progress toward goals and outcomes.
Practices in a culturally diverse and inclusive manner.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicates effectively in all areas of practice.
Collaborates with healthcare consumers and key stakeholders.
Leadership and Professional Development:

Skills:
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (AHA).
Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner.
ACLS (AHA), NIHSS.
Education:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Shift:
7a-7p, 36hrs per week.
Contract Length:
13 weeks.
Required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
