Client is looking for self-motivated individuals who can work independently as well as with a team atmosphere and is willing to take the initiative to be a leader and look to advance.
Project Manager will act as Client representative and is responsible for accomplishing the project objectives using consistent and proven project management methodologies.
They should have an aptitude for thinking outside the box and bring critical thinking, organization, and overall team management.
This professional must be aware of all stakeholders needs, company goals, and employee coordination needed to bring projects to a successful completion.
Success in this role is measured by the Project Manager's ability to ensure that projects are completed to specification, within the approved time frame, and on budget.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Project Manager will work with Client to develop project objectives, deliverables, and project plan; identify stakeholders, risks, project team members, budget, and communication plan.
Project Manager will coordinate and meet with project team members to ensure all parties are on track with requirements, deadlines, and schedules and to identify and resolve issues.
Project Manager will be responsible for delivery of regularly scheduled status reports as defined in communication plan.
Project Manager will hold vendors/carriers accountable for meeting costs and deadlines.
At conclusion of project, Project Manager will be responsible for delivery of project transition to Client Account Manager and/or Business Development Account Manager.
Project Manager must maintain flexibility and adjust methodology to needs of Client and size of project.
Qualifications, Experience and Education:
High School Diploma Ability to lead teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
Must be familiar with MS Outlook, must have intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have strong organizational and analytical skills.
Must be able to work in the U.
S.
Preferred Qualifications Two - Five years of experience as a project manager.
Degree in Project Management or Information Technology Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and leading teams Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve the project's goals and complete the work Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles Understanding of IT departments organizations and technology Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical issues and coordinate with team members and management for resolution Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills Strong understanding of project budget management Experience on getting stuff done working with non-direct reports (Strong Influencer) Excellent time management and organizational skills Job Types:
