The world leader in specialty glass and ceramics is currently seeking Process Engineer to support the manufacturing of optical fiber in an around-the-clock production environment in the Concord, NC area. This is a one year CONTRACT assignment, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates only; no per diem available.
Responsibilities for the Process Engineer
Assisting production personnel and maintenance functions in day-to-day troubleshooting of equipment and processes, conducting trend analysis of reoccurring errors and developing proposals / designs / training to reduce those errors and machine downtown and implement the corrections
Develop maintenance and operator training documentation, conducting equipment qualification and initial training of production personnel, and making provisions for repair parts stocking levels
Requirements for the Process Engineer
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Ceramic / Material Science)
Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a Manufacturing Environment required
Strong technical fundamentals with process engineering skills, strong data acquisition and analysis skills required
Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Experience with Auto Desk Inventor, knowledge of glass processing, fiber optic process and equipment experience desired

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
