1 of 6
Vehicle Description Lot #439-1941 Mercury 8 Club Coupe- Car sold new in Los Angeles, California on March 27, 1941 and has the original bill-of-sale to document that.
Car spent most of its life in California and has only traveled 25,182 miles which are certainly believed to be actual.
Mostly original Henry Ford Black finish with good original interior.
Car has the Mercury 95HP 239ci Flathead V-8, a working Columbia 2-Speed rear, dual exhaust, radio, grill guard, trunk guard, DeLuxe bumpers with accessory wings', fender skirts, and wide whitewall tires.
Underneath is beautiful unrestored, un-rusted, and unmolested.
Because it was stored in a Tennessee collection for the past 24 years, we completely overhauled the brakes with new shows and wheel cylinders.
Also rebuilt carburetor and replaced hoses.
One of only 82,391 Mercury's reportedly produce in '41.
Mercury's ads said The car that truly dares to ask 'Why?' They are only original once.
