Vehicle Description Lot #427-1959 Volkswagen Beetle Project This rare fantastic project is being sold at NO-RESERVE!!! 1959 VW Beetle.
Seller started this restoration years ago, and for reasons that we are all too familiar with, he is unable to finish.
It is all metal with zero rust.
It has an all new pan-chassis with completely rebuilt steering, suspension, brakes, lines, bushings and mounts.
The correct engine, transmission, clutch, pressure plate and differential and all bearings have been professionally rebuilt or replaced to factory new specifications.
He says that this is a running, but not a drivable project.
All panels were stripped down to bare metal (some in primer) with no body filler being used.
The seller states that he has lots of very rare and expensive parts to complete, with many in duplication.
He also says that with very little reservation, he has everything to complete the restoration, even the side post mounted manual turn signal indicators, and 2 sets of rare headlight buckets and lenses!! He has lots of receipts and says that he has already invested well over $15,000.
00 in this project and he is out of money, space and time.
He also says that he would be glad to talk to the new owner anytime that he or she has any questions about parts or the project.
Here's a chance for something unique and very rare.
The expensive part is done, and it's being sold at high noon on Saturday, September 25 to the highest bidder at NO-RESERVE!!!.
