Vehicle Description Lot #160-1957 Ford Fairlane Supercharged 2-Door Club Sedan.
This Fairlane was built by long time Georgia Ford enthusiast and collector, the late Wayne Blackwood, for his personal collection.
Wayne, from his drag racing days to his ownership of new Ford and Lincoln dealerships, was known driving, owning, building, and selling nothing but Ford products.
He was known to bleed Ford blue if cut.
Wayne sold his last keepers with us before he died last year and our friend that has the Pinehurst, NC Collection bought them both.
Wayne owned this Fairlane for over 15 years and supervised a complete no-expense-spared restoration/build to make this car very special.
The Raven black paint is nearly flawless and shows as new on this laser straight body.
Interior is finished in correct grey cloth with correct trim.
A 4-speed transmission is coupled to the iconic 312 cubic inch Thunderbird Special V-8 engine.
It has undergone a complete, and time consuming , professional build that includes ported and polished heads, performance cam, a 347 stroker kit that was engineered and designed specifically for this engine application to be specifically used with the Paxton Supercharger.
Wayne reportedly invested over $90.
000 in this unbelievable Ford.
We understand why this was one of his favorite cars.
We also understand that this is your opportunity to be the next owner of this piece of FoMoCo history.
