Vehicle Description STK 3270 1966 Ford Mustang The first generation Mustang was manufactured from 1964-1/2 until 1973.
The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile that became known as the 'pony car'.
The Mustang's styling with its long hood and short deck proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competitors.
This handsome 1966 Mustang coupe has had a careful restoration (2002).
The previous owner had this 'Hoss' for over 24 years and the odometer mileage shown (58,500) is said to be actual.
The Mustang's exterior was professionally reshot in Tuxedo Black and is in very good overall condition.
There are a few blemishes in the paint - it is over 20 years old.
Mustang GT wheels (circa '98) mount 16 Fuzion/Kumho radial tires and provide a nice accent.
The interior was restored using Mustang 'Pony' upholstery and new carpeting.
Features include a functional A/C system, complete set of factory gauges, power locks and a '3-spoke' wheel.
A Sony AM/FM/CD/MP3 sound system has also been installed.
This Mustang was a 'C' code car from the factory - 289/2V.
It was rebuilt in 2017 and incorporates an Edelbrock single-plane aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4-barrel carb and MSD ignition.
The Windsor sounds great though tube headers and custom dual exhaust setup.
A 'Mustang by Ford' engine dress-up kit has been installed and torque is delivered to a 3-speed automatic gearbox.
The solid chassis has power steering, power-assisted disc/drum brakes w/dual master and upgraded suspension components.
If you want a fun Blue Oval, this sharp Mustang coupe has your name on it.
