Vehicle Description You love it when someone invests the right money to build an all-out street machine just like you, and this incredible 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Restomod/Prostreet is a prime example.
It has an extra-mean small block V8, upgraded suspension, upgraded five-speed stick, a distinct custom body, and a race-ready interior.
So it's obvious that no corners were cut in its construction.
This Falcon takes its performance seriously.
After all, they ensured a Holman Moody tribute decal was visible from any angle.
And since the Falcon fathered the Mustang, it only seems fair that it uses the best ones for its speedy inspiration.
The front splitter looks like it could be on a Boss 302, the hood scoop is Mach 1 inspired, and the black 17-inch alloys are borrowed from a late-model pony car.
Plus, the front bumper has the specially molded style like the first GT350Rs used to ensure they get plenty of fresh air.
And speaking of the bumpers, the rear adds some serious style with a custom seamless piece.
And it upgrades the overall style with a frenched license plate and integrated dual exhaust tips.
There's also the large rear spoiler, sport mirrors, and quite a sharp-looking two-tone in a glossy red and creamy white paint job.
The result is a custom that looks just as ready for the racetrack as it is for the World of Wheels.
The interior will make some professional race cars jealous.
After all, many of the unnecessary interior amenities have been professionally deleted so that you still have nice-looking panels in place of the door cards, headliner, and back seat.
The full race cage, fuel panel, and toggle switches give this a professional-grade feel.
The high-back racing seats are done in black and red cloth to coordinate with the color theme, and they have full Simpson racing harnesses.
And we love the look of the smooth aluminum panels on the dash that now house the full AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite readouts.
And while the interior looks race-ready, there are a few cool upgrades, like cup holders and a tilt steering column.
There's a full AM/FM/CD stereo system with powered subwoofers for when you want to choose the soundtrack out on the open road.
But really, we all know the best soundtrack starts under the hood.
With all this powerful style inside and out, you better believe this has a terrific powerhouse, too.
It starts with Ford's mighty 302 cubic-inch V8.
It's said to be enlarged (but not proven) to 347ci.
Regardless, it's quite a stout build with AFI aluminum heads, an Edelbrock Air Gap intake, a full MSD ignition system, and topped with a Demon four-barrel carburetor.
And you have good supporting components, too, like the full engine bay bracing, cast Ford Racing valve covers, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan.
The fuel cell and Optima battery are even correctly in the rear.
The K&N air filter is tall enough to reach into the fresh air hood scoop, and it exhales with a nice set of headers that feed an H-pipe dual exhaust.
There are even electronic cutouts when you want to bring the thunder.
As you look underneath, there are plenty of fresher investments, including rack & pinion steering, front disc brakes, and rear traction bars.
And as you hit the road, everything from the upgraded five-speed manual transmission to the Goodyear Eagle sport tires gives you enhanced control.
This Falcon is an awesome mix of restomod and prostreet that creates a unique and powerful classic.
So if you want to look like you just left the track, even when you're on a milk run, you know you need this hardtop.
